The Artist Perspective: All music motivates us and our passions subconsciously. The figure is nude symbolizing purity as a newborn child while being infused by the influence of music (dripping on the spine). The figures passion is the gift of dance (notice the ballerina shoes). From the depths within the figure expresses itself and tells the story for the world to see. The head in the shape of the bell end of a trumpet symbolizes; being open to receive and being open to give.
